Have kids, they said. You’ll figure it all out once they are born, they said. Let’s be honest… we are all just figuring things out as we go. One thing I do know is that any hack I can think of to simplify my routine, I’m all about it.
Mornings always seem to be the craziest and as much as my OCD self hated to see my bed unmade when I left for drop-off and work in the mornings, I just did not have the time to get to it… until now. We recently got rid of our old comforter and upgraded to Beddys and it has simplified my mornings like no others. Beddys is an all-in-one zip-up comforter and I can make my bed in the morning in about 60 seconds. I’m telling you, it’s life changing.
Every time I come up with these hacks and new ideas, Danny always seems to shut me down but he was all about this one. Not only does our bed always look freshly pressed and fitted, but it’s also machine washable (definitely what sold him). No extra trips to the dry cleaners and no more wrestling with my duvet cover to even out the comforter.
I’ve never been a top-sheet sleeper so the Beddys comforter was perfect for me. Since its an all-in-one bedding, you don’t need to buy sheets and the top comforter is so soft and cozy– its almost like it has a built-in blanket underneath.
I think it’s safe to say our room got a major upgrade. The only issue we have now is that the girls are spending more time than ever in our bed. All of a sudden I have a collection of their books next to my bed and they’ve been flipping through the pages all on their own.
