A room fit for a princess

This post is sponsored by Teamson Kids, all opinions are my own.

Christmas came early for the girls this year as I surprised them with some new additions to their “princess room”. I had all intentions of waiting until Christmas, but I got so excited that I just couldn’t resist.

I was on the hunt for the perfect table to put in in the girls room for quite some time– either the colors didn’t match, the chairs were flimsy, etc. They’ve been really into tea parties lately and I wanted to create a magical space for their tea parties to come to life. Teamson Kids makes the cutest children’s furniture and I found a crackled rose table that was the perfect fit for their pink room.

I surprised Ari with a new tea set and set-up her new corner when she was at school the other day and she was ecstatic. The details and craftsmanship that went into the table are amazing and I love how sturdy the chairs were– you know, so no one falls off.

It’s so easy to create a unique room for kids by adding a couple of pieces to give it a pop. While we have dark wood throughout our house, the girls bed frames and dressers are white, so I can easily pull in different colors and patterns to give their room a fresh look. I like to stick to pastel colors and can easily add in different throw pillows and stuffed animals and change them out once they are ready for something new.

With two really girly girls who live off glitter and sparkle, they play dress-up a lot. Teamson Kids had this pink dress-up station and I couldn’t resist. This little station was absolutely perfect in organizing and displaying their tutus and all of their accessories. Not only is it fun for them to play with (Nati won’t stop staring at herself in the mirror since we got it), it adds so much character to their room. Shop the dress up unit here.

I remember playing dress-up as a kid and it brings back so many memories watching them put on their tutus and twirl around in front of the mirror. Now that we are finally starting to get some rain and colder weather here in San Diego, the girls will be able to enjoy new activities in their room over winter break.
